Hi! I would not get one with a hood as they really just get in the way. My two have these: Gooby Sports Vest

I really like them. Sammy is 6lbs with a skinny 13.5" chest and the medium is a little big on her but the small was too tight. You might call them with measurements to get the right size. They are great quality for the price.
