YTCA recommends yorkies be with their mom a minimum of 12 weeks, the mom teaches them important socialization skills. A yorkie this age isn't ready to be alone all the time, and wants to be with his mom and littermates, so please give him a little extra love and attention. Some people say that a product such as this that makes the sound of a mom's heartbeat helps.
