Both my babies had it when we first got them. . .they didn't have the diarrea, but they were pooping several times a day . . you can tell by the color, smell and greasiness of the poop. The poop was very dark, greasy looking and OMG stunk to high heaven.

For Brody it took a couple different meds to clear it. For Rhianna it was just that one medication that completely wiped it out altogether. Since Rhianna was the one who brought it back into the house, Brody also had to have another round of the meds . . .But, they have both been clear of it since December 31st.

While I don't believe it to be fatal, it is catchy . . you would most definitely have to clean every thing in your home, carpets, tile, etc . . .Another thing I do is wash their food dishes/water dishes out daily with very warm soapy water . . .and also keep your hands washed and disinfected.

You should find that after the week of meds, when they re-test in 3 weeks, it should of cleared, just make sure you get all the meds into your puppy and finish out the medication . . . . .did they give you a liquid or pill? The liquid was better for mine.
