I'm sorry for your loss.
When we had Boog cremated we were told they would put a little brick in with him that had a number on it, that way we would be sure we actually got Boog back and not another dog. We had him cremated and returned to us in a little urn...he is in my Grandmother's cabinet with his collar and picture right now. Since we move a lot we didn't want to bury him in the yard so our plan is to bury him with which ever one of us goes first...the urn will be placed in the crook of the left arm since that was Boog's favorite place to be. I checked into pet cemetaries but when I went to look at them I found them to be not very well taken care of and I didn't want my Boog dog left in one of those places. Not to say there aren't nice ones but the ones I saw weren't.
