I think this is one of the hardest decisions with Yorkies.

I don't know what I've do.
Michigan is very high risk but because Ellie has had a vaccine reaction (it was likely from rabies or lepto), she can't have it and she is okay. However, if she could I don't know what I'd do.

It is easy to say skip it but it is a dangerous disease.
At the same time, it has killed Yorkie pups.

I can only tell you that if I was going to give it, I'd give it two weeks apart from any other vaccine, possibly premedicate with Benadryl, stay at the vet 1/2 after (hold them in the lobby) and use the lepto single...not a combo shot. I think Pfizer makes one. And this won't even protect against all strains, so your pup will still be at risk...

Reaction is more likely the second or third time but possible the first.
