We recently added Coco (female) to our family. She is 11 weeks and a real spark plug! The problem is that our 2 year old, Cali, has always been our little chicken. If it moves she's nervous! Well as you can imagine the little one is already asserting herself and it's killing us that Cali seems to already be assuming the passive/submissive role. It is making us feel terrible. We got Coco as a playmate, but Cali seems totally bummed about the whole thing! What we need are some very specific guidlines/advice to help transition Coco into the 'pack'. They have been together less than 10 days so now is the time to do things right. They do seem to play a bit but it seems so awkward. Thanks for any advice in advance.
