Hi everyone,

Okay, Carson was neutered today - acting fine, eating, etc. So I thought I would check his stitches before bed and make sure there is no infection. Okay, the skin that held his testacles is still there - but empty. The incision is between the end of his penis and his testiciles.

Oscar wasn't this way when he came home nine years ago - unless it was there and just flattened out. All I know is that he did not have any hanging skin at all.

I am kind of grossed out by it – was this done correctly? Was there a choice? Why did the vet not remove the skin?
