Chico flopped down and fell fast asleep, to our amazement he stayed that way til 6:30 the next morning. Now Chico sleeps on our bed with us going to bed between 8:30-9 and waking up at 6:30. For me it's a small price to pay for a full night sleep, and I figure that it is a comfort for him sleep with part of his "pack" and not alone. If you don't want to have him on your bed, maybe try getting him a stuffed animal that you put your smell on. Chico has a stuffed Yorkie that he plays with and when we first brought him home he would lay with it like a littermate. Good luck with finding a solution, sleep loss is no fun.
Sounds like Jackson! I had him sleeping in his crate, but he constantly woke up in the middle of the night. One night I let him sleep on my bed and he stayed that way from 10pm-7:30am! So, ever since, he's been sleeping with me, lol.
