Default My 10 year old is regressing! HELP

Hi gang! I am new to yorkietalk.com and can't believe that there are so many people that share my love of yorkies!

I have a dilemma...my big guy (Tyson, 10lbs) has begun to regress now that he has turned 10 years old. He intentionally rips his puppy pads, eats paper towels and has begun to urinate on my couches and has even had a BM on one. I can't leave my filled trash bags exposed in my mudd room because he rummages through the trash and then urinates on it once he has eaten every shred of paper with a hint of food on.

I am recently divorced and I am thinking my husband not being in the house has affected him. Do you think this is what's prompting him to react so crazy? It's like having a pup all over again! Has this happened to anyone else?

By the way I have begun dating again and needless to say he is not as welcoming to my guest as he use to be.
