 microchiped and spayed at 6 mo
Hi, I had my girl spayed at 6 mo. and she did fantastic. All her stitches were on the inside (3 layers) and she kept a onesie on most of the time and her scar has healed beautiful. I couldn't put that dreaded cone on her. She just stood there like she was being punished. I was really worried about doing it, but it had to be done. THe first night was the hardest. We slept in a separate bedroom and I put her bed right next to me on my bed. I wanted to make sure she would be okay breathing. The best part was when she woke up at 3:00 am to go potty, she seen I was there and I got lots of kisses. I'll never forget that moment. As far as the microchip..I'm not so sure. Ever since she had it put in, she shakes her head and body alot and she NEVER did that before her surgery. Good luck, but I know she will be okay. Sheryl in Bartlett, IL PeanutAnn's mommie |
