My sister's Cairn Terrier had seizures. He was also on Pheno and some other med. At first the seizures would be once or twice a week. The vet thought that the dog was epiletic but they couldn't get the seizures under control. After many tests, Cat scans, bloodwork, etc. (over $5000) they found out he had Cushings Disease. It got to a point where the dog was having multiple seizures in a single day and he was becoming disoriented all the time. The vet eventually recomended that he be put to sleep because the seizures got so bad. He was 4 years old when he passed on.
