I have a little Yorkie with no protal vein. Her shunt is what is keeping her alive. I don't let her go outside when it is really cold and have her wee pads in 3 different trays around the house for her to use. That way I can monitor her urine also. I got them at Petsmart. Tried the doggy litter first and she said NO WAY! Congratulations on your new baby! Oh, the joy of puppy breath!
