My little girl is in diapers because she is in heat . . .she doesn't seem to mind them, and they are only used because she is bleeding . . . we adopted her when she was older (6 months) and she really took to the wee pads immediately. It is a rare occasion that she misses and goes on the floor.
We got our little boy as a small puppy (10 weeks old) and we kept him in the spare bathroom with the wee pads.
Although both go outside to potty 85% of the time now, having the wee pad on snowy and/or rainy days where going outside is a pain, it is worth it.
