My female starting bleeding on Jan. 29. This is her first heat & everything seemed normal. I have had her put up so that my male would not get ahold of her. A few days ago I brought her out, no bleeding, swelling is going down, she was snapping at the male & I knew it was past the 21 days so with all those signs I thought we were safe. Last night, after 25 days of the first signs of bleeding, my male got tied with her. I have never heard of this before & neither has my vet. Could she get pregnant with it being so long?
