Wall-E is 10 months and he has developed this annoying barking habit at 5am... don't really know what to do either with him except revert back to training basics like spray his face with a spray bottle of water and say "Quiet!" until he learns not to bark... I hope that does the trick. It worked when he was a tiny puppy like 3-5 months old and would bark in his pen for attention, then we stopped using the water bottle and gave him free roam of our room which he did well with. Now we moved into a different house and put him back into his pen at night b/c he marks everything in sight and I can't stand our bedroom smelling like urine, but unfortunately now he barks ALOT MORE being in his pen than when he had free roam.... sigh. I love my yorkie but he is difficult! I have a female chihuahua and have NO problems with her- no barking- no potty training issues- she goes right into her pen and sleeps all night...
