Barking is sometimes tough because it's a symptom rather than a problem
... also when we start talking about Yorkies We're talking about dogs that are predisposed to barking
what you can do is try to have the pup do more ...take him out for more walks
play with him with some toys or with other dogs
this will retrain his mind so it's not on that he is missing your daughter
when he does bark ... snap him out of it with a UH! or a shake with a can of coins
then throw a toy for him to fetch
