Okay, so I have these cuttings from a spider plant. They are like some leaves with small roots at the bottom. I told my MIL I wanted some spider plants this year in the house and she gave me about 7 cuttings. I have NO idea what to do with them.
Do I just stick the root part in some dirt, or do I have to do anything else with them?
Also, I have this grow light that I bought to help start my herb garden. The packets say to start indoors 10 weeks before planting outside. That would be this week. Do I use the grow light before or after germination? And how close should the bulb be over them?
I started gardening as a hobby last year, but I have a lot to learn. My seedlings got too leggy and spindly last time because they didnt have enough light I learned, which is why I bought a grow light for this year.
