I would imagine he's barking because he needs out to do his business. He's a little puppy - they need to go frequently. How long are they crated for?
A dog will not go in their crate unless they can hold it any longer. If you want them to have another option - have you considered using an x-pen and potty pads. That way they can have a bed at one end of the x-pen & a pad at the other.
Please do not use those bark devices - really they can be harmful or create more behavior problems.
Yorkies are notorious for being difficult to housebreak, I don't know about Silkies. But they are both puppies and it does take a lot of time, many may say to age 1 or beyond |
