Potato can be baked or boiled or possibly steamed...never tried that.

Does Dolly have any underlying medical problems?
Has blood work been done to rule out things like EPI if she is too skinny but eats a good amount?

Adding carbs is a great idea but just remember if you add more than 10% unbalanced human food or dog treats, you may need to add supplements. Alternatively, you can just feed more canned food. I don't see the need to add supplements if she can gain weight on food alone. Maybe she just has fast metabolism and needs more calories?

Ellie was quite skinny for awhile. Her diet is pretty high in carbs but she wasn't getting enough calories, so I increased her food intake by 50%.
