Thanks everyone. Good news, he's home!! I called after dinner and they said he was well enough to be sprung.
What a difference! He's a feisty guy so he was biting on the cage and licking my finger. :-) I held him all the way home. He has to stay in his cage for a few days and now he's happily gnawing on a chew toy.
The breeder has been calling me because she actually wanted to keep him. heh. She's been worried and we think him being wet during the trip probably started this. When I picked him up at the cargo place, they told me he had soiled and when I checked the carrier, the pad was completely soaked. He was wet, too. I wiped him with baby wipes in the car and left him out of the carrier for the ride home.
He got a bath here, warmed up after in a towel, etc. Then he changed on Saturday.
The breeder mentioned mating him when he's older with one of her bitches. |
