The thyroid test is a good idea. Lacy and rylie lose some hair when I brush and bathe them too...they do lose some hair everyday just like we do and hair will also break off, especially when they wear clothing. It's possible that since you aren't bathing and brushing her as often anymore, that more hair comes out when you do bathe & brush her...whereas before when you did it more often it was just a little over time and not as noticeable. I would have her thyroid checked...but I don't know if I'd jump to a skin scraping unless she is really losing a significant amount of hair, hair is becoming thin in areas, or she develops bald spots. It could be allergies to something too
