Hi Sindi,
All 4 of my pups were spayed/neutered and microchipped as soon as all their adult teeth had come in. They got spayed/neutered, microchipped, and baby teeth pulled all at the same time.......that way they didn't have to go under anesthesia again to have baby teeth pulled. None of my yorkies has had any problems with microchips......they have the Avid brand.
