I had the same problem with my first yorkie. He was the pickiest eater and basically I fed him the treats that he liked because he ate nothing else. As he got older he got very over weight but to me he just looked cuter. He started getting skin allergies and would be put on predizone. Then he would get little sores and have to be put on antibiotics. Then he developed pancreitis and was very sick. Then he got bladder stones, then bladder cancer and had to be put to sleep at 13 years old. I didn't discover YT until after Chip was gone. I can't believe how ignorant I was about everything. I now have a new baby and she only gets the best kibble and never has had a treat and she is 10 months old. Her training treat is a piece of her kibble. So don't give in to your babies wants when you know that treat isn't good for them. Down the road you'll regret it.
