After living in California most of my life, I was use to grilling everything. I moved to Michigan, but that didn't stop me from grilling, it's no fun waiting outside though. Obviously, just cook with the cover down, and if it's a hot grill it should work just fine. The 60-degree temperature difference between summer and winter is nothing for a grill. Now, I'm living in Arizona, and we hardly have to preheat the grill in the summer!
