I have a 10 month old female Yorkie who had Legg Perthes Disease. She weighs 5.2 lbs. We found out the first week of December when she was 8 months old. She had her surgery on December 29. She is just starting using her leg most of the time in the house but when I take her outside she always carries that back right leg. I thought maybe it was because the ground is not even. My vet said that it will be a good 3-4 months befored she is 100%. I worry about her because she still carries that leg quite a bit in the house especially when she first gets up and at the end of the day. There hasn't been a day when she hasn't limped. Does your baby still limp in the house?
