he may miss you but he will be just fine, just think this is a good time to have a little seperation. We don't like to do it but it is good for both of you sometimes. I actually started putting my little one in doggy day care to help with seperation anxiety and to help socialize him with others. He loves going to day care or the kennel. When he comes home from the kennel he can't even bark, you can tell he had alot of fun with the other dogs.
