I used to sit in Hot Rod's pen with him at feeding and hold his bowl for him. Hubby thought I was nuts but I didn't care. lol. Fortunately (for my back) I finally switched him (them) to eating in the kitchen. I still sometimes will sit with them. when they act finicky, I will feed them a couple of pieces of food to get them interested. It works everytime.
