I completely understand, we are removing the carpet in our living room, replacing with hardwood floor due to the dogs. Even though they are pretty much trained, you still have that accident at times. You be surprised how much room you find on your lap with a few of these babies. I have 2 who will scoot each other off my lap but I find room for both somehow. Or lay down on the couch and all 4 find a spot on me.
