We just need to try to know who and who not to show too when we have a dog that can be considered "on the line" in either direction. Some judges understand the intent and honor the supplement letter from the YTCA, but some will only judge by the written standard (which is what they are paid by us to do), so we as exhibitors have to pick and choose our judges carefully and what dogs to show to them.
Oh, I know Sonja. I know I do not and am not defending - no need to. Just stating how ridiculous it is when judges DQ for not understanding. We do have choices - reason I held my entry last year to a particular judge.
I know the owner of the stud.
