Bogey has grade 1 LP in both his legs. Bogey was from a shelter and had very poor nutrition when he first came home to us and way very underweight. I was very concerned but the vet said that with weight maintenance and proper nutrition he should be fine. I can tell that since he has gained to a health weight, better dog food and care it is much less noticeable. In the future he might have him take a supplement but he didn't see the need for it now. My little guy was actually passed up at the shelter because they thought there was something seriously wrong with his legs they way he walked. Now you cannot even tell there is an issue. Make sure not to allow your little one to jump or slide on wood/tile floors and maintain a health weight.
