I have two and both are spayed/neutered and one has grade 3 LP in one knee and grade 2 in the other and with weight control and jumping control I have had no problems but every now and then when they run and it comes out. I will not have the surgery unless ABSOLUTELY necessary and as long as they are pain free and I keep weight under control they are doing fine

I won't do a surgery unless it's absolutely necessary and so far their quality of life is just fine. Both haven't had their knees pop out in over a year since I got their weight and jumping under control
