I know you said you have a broken toe but if you could go out and leave your scent he might be able to follow it home. That worked for me one time a few years ago. If you cant do it then maybe someone who he knows well can do it. Also have them or yourself take the other dog out and see if they lead you to him. Just suggestions that I pray will help.
