As I am unemployed, I stay with them 24 hours per day and so I might keep one in the kitchen and another with me during the night at the heat cycle in order to keep them separated.

Just an FYI....you may also be in for some hectic, trying, and loud days and sleep deprived days and/or nights. The males can get pretty annoying wanting to get to the female. They will bark, cry, whine, scratch at doors, jump and/or climb, or what ever when they don't get what they want.
I ended up putting my male in his belly band and my female in her panties/diaper AND a onsie baby shirt just so I could let them be together for awhile for some peace and rest on my part. It worked for me, but I've heard stories of them being able to undress each other when they really, really, want to. So be very, very, careful.
