Clock Getting your boy fixed.

It's really best to get your puppy fixed before 6 months and solve most of these problems. There are vets that fix male puppies at 12 weeks of age. There are breeders who won't sell their pups unless they are altered, because of the champion lines. I believe 2 lbs is big enough to do it. 6 months is really the oldest it should be done. You will find much difference in a small animal vet than others. Anesthesia should never be used. The gas is the best, because the vet can control how much your baby gets. he can cut it off when he goes to sleep or shut it down. If he starts waking up, he can turn it up. The puppies and dogs really recover better, and wake up faster with the gas. This makes much difference. It takes less time for them to recover from gas. They may never recover from Anesthesia. This is also a good topic to cover when choosing a vet for your puppy, is what age and weight can he alter your puppy at. It's actually the most important thing to discuss when you get a little boy.
