You can also "google" some info as well, you would be surprised what you find on there ...I think you should also wait a couple weeks after she has her 1st heat before spaying her...I believe "elliemay" is reallllly good about that kind of info you should find her on here hehe... A dog can be spayed while in heat but there is more blood involved and it is just safer to wait. I would wait at least 6 week safter personally so that hopefully diestrus (going out of heat) is done and the humans go back to "normal" (anestrus).
