OMG OP!!! ALL these are good advise.
We just got bk from our ski trip. Our condo was tri level, Dudley lives in a single story FL home.
My Dh taught him to go UP then DOWN all in 3 days...
Going up by tossing hius fav toy 3-4 steps up at a time till he got the hang of it.
Coming down was like other said, it can vary, get yourself down a few step from him by enticing him w/ treat or toy then gradually working your way to the full set....mine picked this up in a few days..
when we got back home he was looking for stairs...we put a set in front of our sofa so he run up/down at his will. So our next goal is to take them away when we don't want him up there (when we have comapny) and teach him when stairs are present, he's free up on sofa, when there are not there, he is not welcome. therefore, teaching him another "trick" HA!! Ihope the joke is not on me!!!!!
