 1st Time Puppy Owner
Hi everyone! I thought I would introduce myself and let you all know that I have been "lurking" for a few days. We just bought a Morkie and got her last Friday. I have never had a dog before and am EXTREMELY unsure of myself even though I have 5 children!
We named our puppy Eliza Doolittle and she is absolutely adorable, although, things have definitely not gone smoothly. Two days after we got her I broke her leg--it was horrible. She likes to follow me and she got tangled in my feet. The Vet wrapped her leg--so cute-- and she seems to be feeling better, but, now Miss Eliza has blood spots in her stools. I have another appointment with the Vet today.
To top it off my youngest son has developed a case of hives. I am trying to convince myself it has nothing to do with our puppy. We'll see. I have had kids with random cases of hives before.
I just wanted to say that you all seem like such loving and kind people and I hope to be one of you. Wish us luck here in our castle of chaos! |
