Just think what Buster's last few days would have been like in that pet store. He would have died without ever having know the touch of of a loving hand or a gentle kiss on the top of his head. He would have never felt the comfort that only a human can give to a sick little guy. For a brief few days Buster was someone's beloved pet and even death can't take that away from him.
