Have you taken her to the vet yet? I would have her checked over and have that scratch looked at, and at that time talk with the vet about spaying her. A lot of members can give you advice on the spaying of these little ones.
Once she is more used to you and the grooming, I would recommend using Buddy Splash to get the tangles and knots out. It's from Cloud Star
