I do not in any way support puppy mills by any means, but this bill will drastically effect hobby breeder with responsible breeding programs. I think what people are unaware of is the fact that Puppy Mills are already regulated by the USDA. This bill will also affect rescue organizations. Anyone who has any intrest in breeding a litter of puppies a year, or showing there dogs in this state you need to call your reps and ask for them to vote NO. This bill has far to many grey areas and gives local government more jurisdiction than the state. Any one who really realizes the effect this bill will have would not think this okay. This is not an animal cruelty or puppymill bill this is the HSUS and its Peta like derivates, working on banning all animal breeding. If this bill passes it will continue to be ammended year after year until no breeding or ownership is the end result, before you ask for this bill to be passed maybe you should look into who is behind it. Do you really want to be a pet "guardian"???
