Don't be afraid. I got my second one last year. Our first one was 10 years old at the time and I had the same worries. Gizmo (the older one) has accepted him just fine and taught him all of his good habits as well as his bad ones
. Just kidding. I had no trouble potty training either. He (Barkley) just followed Giz. I just made sure that Gizmo had plenty of love and never felt like he was being left out. Good luck with your decision.
