Layla was only 3 lbs when she was fixed and she did really well. Recovery depends on how your pup reacts to the anethesia. Layla has a hard time with it and was out of it for about 3 days. Make sure she comes home with pain meds. Also you might want to buy an infant onesie to use instead of the e collar. Be sure you take time off to be with her as she should not be left alone the first few days.
