Hi everyone I am in the United States Navy Reserve, I was active duty for 6 1/2 years. I am a Hospital Corpsman stationed with the marines. I did two tours in Iraq and I did one UDP to Japan. I don't know if admin will allow this thread and if not I am sure they will shut it down but I was wondering if you were interested in doing more or getting involved. There are thousand of military folk of all branches deployed to any part of the world at anytime and sometimes people like myself don't have family or a support system back home. So this really great organization called Soldiers Angels was started. Basically you can sign up to "adopt a soldier" and send letters and care packages to military members deployed. If you are interested go to soldiersangels.com and check out the forum. The only affialiation have with them is that I was a recipient of some very kind people while I was deployed and I am trying to become an "angel" now and give back. Even just one letter is like christmas when your over there in the suck. Take Care
