Chloe is 2.5 lbs. at a 10 months old. She has been the same weight since 5 months and the vet seems to think this is her final weight , but who knows, she may have a spurt or two left in her
She is healthy , but with her size even something small can become major , so I worry. I take her to the vet as soon as I think something is wrong. She has had all her shots , and luckily had no reaction to them ( I didn't hold off on her first shots because I had not found YT yet , so I didn't even think about that) But I have been waiting till she is a year old to have her extra teeth removed.
She doesn't try to jump off beds or sofas ( anymore) and she seems to have learned her limits around the house , but I still have to watch her and can't ever leave her unattended on the sofa or any place high. I always worry if alot of people are over that she will get stepped on , so she is either in my arms or in her X pen ( still in the room with us) so no one can step on her.You have to be prepared to watch a tiny one as much as you would a baby.
I do like the fact that she is small , I mean the fact is I wanted a small dog , I just had no realistic idea about how small she actually would be

but I wouldn't give her up for anything I love her to pieces
good luck with your new baby
