I breed on a very small basis, I currently have a 2 1/2 lb 7 month old pup I kept. With them being so small it is a worry all the time. This one became sick as a young pup and was in the emergency vets. We kept him from the litter; a) because was not sure he would grow to be an adult.
b) after feeding him every two hrs all day and night, we grew attached

His name is Garth, he is full of the dickens all the time and very healthy now.. I know small is what the public wants but they are still small at 7 lbs, so just be aware that you will have to be alert to their actions and get them help if needed.

Wishing you the best with you new puppy. I am sure you will love it no matter what size it becomes.
