Home cooking is a tricky balance of food and nutrients/supplements. My BEST suggestion is to use a nutritionist- I did when I found out Layla had to be on a low fat diet. If you try creating the diet on your own you run the risk of missing something in her diet and she can have life long medical issues because of this- especially when it comes to calcium and phosphorus.

The nutritionist I used- as have 5 or more other YT members is- Susan Davis at askariel.com. It cost 76$ for a 45 min to 1 hr phone consult. When you buy the consult online you will fill out a form telling Susan about your dogs needs and she will come up with a diet that will work for her and have the correct K/Cals for her weight. Susan is just wonderful. If you search here in on YT you will see everyone just can't say enough good things about her!

Let me know if you go with Susan
