i live in a 2bed 2.5bath apartment and i have 2 babies! both of them are potty trained to go on the potty pad. i don't take them outside to potty at all - theres a lot of other dogs here and some of the people dont have their big dogs on leashes. i dont wanna risk them attacking riley & maddie.
when my boyfriend and i are at work they have full access to the living room, kitchen and my bedroom and we have a baby gate put up to block them from going to the other places in the apartment. i always keep the other bedroom door shut and the bathroom doors. their potty pads are in the corner of the room on top of a rug because we have wood floors.
i usually change the pads every other day and i pick up the poop and flush it down the toilet everytime i see it.
