My sister and I moved into a new flat three weeks ago. Naturally, Cash is living with us in our 2-bedroom, 4th floor apartment. I am gone from 09h00 to 16h00 on most days - Cash is two years old and I spent a lot of time preparing him for times when I am not at home (We prepared for this for two years

So, I am retraining him to use pee pads (he is outdoor potty trained) and so far, it has gone better than I expected. He was really difficult to potty train at first, but he has done very well on the pee pads.
I put one down in the bathroom (I tried the balcony, but he doesn't like to go there alone at night - he mostly does his stuff at night) and he has been using it about every night now.
I also put down some bath mats (he always does his business on these
) on the balcony with pee pads on them since he doesn't like to do no.1 where he does no.2

So now, he does no.1 on the balcony and no.2 in the bathroom
. Of course, there are still mistakes, but we are getting there.
