If it is indeed canine papilloma virus, yes it's absolutely contagious. It can bascially be described like the chicken pox virus. There really isn't a cure for it. It just has to take it's course. They're mainly found inside their mouth, upper/lower gums, sometimes around the sanitary area or even in between their paw pads. It can sometimes start out looking wart like but then progress into something more, almost like a small white looking worm. Look up papilloma virus on a search engine and take a look at the pictures. That will give you a better idea if in fact that's what you're dealing with.
