Although the 3 newbies that have come to YT to profess how wonderful this Diane is I have no doubt that you believe wholeheartedly that you purchased from a legitimate rescue. For this I am sorry because I want to believe your intent is genuine. But unfortunalety, it states clearly on their website they are not a rescue. That they ship these dogs across the country in crates for an extra charge. That they make "special" deliveries to different states ie "We will be in Chicago on Feb 14th and for an additional $25 we deliver". These 2 things along disqualify them as being a rescue. Rescues NEVER advertise delivery service and meet me in a parking lot! Rescues come to your home, interview you, call your vet, call your references, make sure your home is safe and secure. This is all done on a volunteer basis. Legitimate rescues are nonprofit organizations with volunteers. The fees they charge are to try to cover medical needs of these dogs not to make a profit. This website clearly states that they are FOR PROFIT! Once again NOT A RESCUE! It also says that legitimate rescues do not agree with their "mission" to save dogs. Most of the people who come to this RESCUE forum of YT are either rescue volunteers or members looking to add a rescue pup to their family. So when there are red flags we feel that they should be pointed out and that is what has been done. To all of us, these are all red flags that suggest puppymill. You can believe whatever you would like about their practices as a rehoming service for puppymills because that is exactly what they really are. We here on this thread have questioned what is going on and all of the red flags. If after doing your homework you decided to "rescue" from this business then that is your choice. We are not saying that you as pet owners are bad but the practices that we have uncovered by Googling a few things within this website cause even more red flags.

I do think that this thread should be closed as it was not ever intended to become a debate about the questionable business practices of Nevermore whatever they call themselves.
